At age of 89 has died a Spanish sports official who served as the seventh President of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) from 1980 to 2001. His name is Juan Antonio Samaranch. Samaranch died of cardio-respiratory failure in the Hospital Quirón in Barcelona on 21 April 2010, having suffered ill health for several years prior to his deathHe had been admitted in critical condition with heart problems.
